Default I'll have one Forester diesel to go please.

In my case, I would use the truck year round for work and put a lot of kilometres on it. I need space for equipment and supplies, so either the Forester or Outback... but I prefer the Forester.

I'd prefer the Outback my wife's uncle has one and I can see it being the better family car, but my grandmother recently purchased a 2009 Forrester and it is a great car.

Reality is that I would love the diesel in a wrx -even STI , but I would purchase
it in any model. I was excited to read that 2010 would be the year and the icing
on the cake was a 6 speed manual tranny. That now sounds like it won't happen. Seems the "quirky Subaru" that we all loved is now a mainstream car
maker that no longer listens their long time supporters. Subaru is now big and getting bigger .
It will be interesting to see how Toyota does since they stopped listening
and got bit by their "egos".

Default Forester for me!

I love the idea of a mid-size SUV with ample comfort, space, and practicality, getting nearly 40 mpg and able to tow more than 2 tons! I do a lot of camping and the Forester diesel is absolute perfection for my needs!

Cool Diesel Outback manual trans

Outback Diesel mated to a manual transmission. I was looking at the new outbacks but the higher end all had the CVT. Disappointment.

legacy wagon or impreza for my needs. They need to come out with a bigger diesel engine to compete with the Audi a6 3.0tdi Quattro.I was looking at them but they were too expensive, for the price of a new legacy i could get a 2006 A6,I went for the legacy as it has the best resail value in Sweden and the most pleased customers.

the wagon is built to be more practical since it gives you quick and direct access on the cargo area. And the cargo area is quite huge that all you need to bring could be found and placed properly.
