Greetings! We've owned a 2004 Outback, 4 cylinder, 5 speed since new. 128,000 flawless, trouble free miles. Also own a 1993 Ford F-150 pickup (28K miles), a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner (5 speed), with 158,000 miles, and a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider on which I'm just finishing a complete nut-and-bolt total restoration. I'm a geologist/hydrologist. Am eagerly awaiting the (hoped-for) arrival of the Subaru diesel vehicle line.
